Volunteers are the lifeblood of The Montana Science Center. Our small staff and diverse community benefit immensely from partnering with the people who live, work, recreate, and retire here. From those who love science to those who are just learning, the MSC can use your help. Our Volunteers have allowed visitors of all ages to gain an understanding of science concepts by facilitating hands-on activities and demonstrations. Volunteers support the MSC to turn consumers of science, technology, and art into creators; by awakening curiosity and encouraging exploratory learning to fuel a life of critical, creative innovation. Volunteers have provided expertise in the garden, with special events and activities, for exhibit installations, professional STEM content, community outreach, exhibit maintenance and more.
All of our volunteers are an important part of the Montana Science Center team and contribute to our mission. Volunteering is a fun way to share your passion for inspirational science learning. Each volunteer position is unique, whether behind the scenes, hands-on or interacting with guests and exhibits.
We welcome all age ranges to participate in our volunteer program. Each individual volunteer opportunity has specific ages that it is more suited for. Contact Brittany at NEW EMAIL if you have specific questions.
