Building Brainstorm features hands-on activities that explore the creative architectural design process and encourage collaborative problem-solving. Plan a dream home or a dog house, build a skyscraper model, find the best layout of an apartment model’s rooms and furniture, and much more. This area also features our Rigamajig — a collection of wooden planks, wheels, pulleys, nuts, bolts and rope which allows visitors to follow their curiosity through play. Building Brainstorm is generously supported by CS Structures, Morrison-Maierle Systems, and A&E Architects.
The STEAMlab provides open-ended learning, supervised by STEAMlab staff, with explorations into laser cutting, 3D printing, machine take-apart, robotics, & more! Make your really great idea into a real thing!

A collaboration between two Bozeman schools: Peak Academy and Bozeman Field School, Wild Alaska explores the effects of climate change on our nation's largest and most diverse state. Through the eyes of students in grades 4-12, discover the variety of organisms that live in Alaska's 32 diverse ecosystems: hear sounds the students heard during their trip; read from their science journals and pretend to fish on one of Alaska's many streams. Learn about this big, vast and glorious state!
